04. You can form new words by adding one or more tiles to a word or tiles already on the board or by placing a tile or tiles at right angles to a word already on the board. The new word must use one of the tiles already on the board or must add a tile to it. You can also play a turn by placing a complete word parallel to a word already played so that adjacent letters also form complete words. You will receive credit for all words thus formed. Please note that no tile may be shifted or replaced after it has been played and scored.

05. There are two blank tiles, in the entire pool of 100 tiles that may be used as any letter. When playing a blank, you must state which letter it represents. It remains that letter for the rest of the game. These special tiles should be used cleverly for maximum points and are also generated randomly. Players have an equal chance of getting a blank.

06. You may use a turn to exchange all or some of the letters, if you cannot think of a word or if you think you can get better tiles. To change your tiles place them on the board and click on the CHANGE button. Upon doing this, the tiles you placed on the board will be removed and fresh tiles will be issued at random. It is not necessary that all tiles will be different. You may also pass a turn by clicking on PASS.

07. A game may be set in such a way by players, that it allows them to challenge a word instead of using the computer's dictionary. In this case if you think the word placed by your opponent is invalid, you can click on CHALLENGE. The computer will then check whether the word exists in the dictionary. If it does you will be penalized and vice-versa.

08. You have to go on forming words using the tiles in your rack. When there are no more tiles left or if no more moves are possible, the game will end and the rating adjustments will be done by the computer automatically, based on the score of the players. Please note that the game will end automatically when no moves are possible, only if the computer dictionary is being used. If you are playing a 'challenge' game, then the game will end only if the time runs out or a particular user passes three times in a row.
